As any educator knows, it is impossible to measure growth without assessments. Likewise, the most accurate assessments are those founded upon best practices and sound assessment tools. The following resources are the global competencies assessment tools that I have found helpful in my implementation of global education best practices.
Global Education Self-AssessmentThis source, created by Fred Czarra, is an excellent pre-assessment of student knowledge, knowledge and global competencies of administration and staff, and the resources necessary to facilitate global competencies.

Content Specific Global Education Competency MatricesThese tools, created by the Asia Society, provide content and grade-level specific rationales, learning targets, performance outcomes, and rubrics to help teachers implement instructions that develop global competencies and 21st century skills.
